    Missing woman from Springfield found safe

    UPDATE 5:10 PM – Springfield police say Barbara Rogers has been located and is safe.

    Original Story:

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — The Springfield Police Department has put out an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing woman from Springfield.

    SPD says 69-year-old Barbara Jean Rogers was last seen walking away from 2406 S. Ingram Mill Road in Springfield on Saturday, August 24 sometime around 10:30 p.m.

    Rogers has been diagnosed with dementia and has had trouble remembering her name and date of birth at times.

    Rogers is described as a black female who is 5’5″ and 120 pounds with short black hair on top with blonde dreadlocks in the back and brown eyes. She is wearing a red bonnet, pink striped onesie pajamas, hoop earrings and is carrying a brown purse.

    SPD says anyone who has information on Rogers or her whereabouts should dial 911 or call 417-862-7911.
