According to a release from SGCHD, Anna Kremer will be the organization’s communication and outreach coordinator. She joins the administrative team and will be responsible for developing and implementing the department’s communication and outreach strategy, media relations and more.

Kremer joined the department in 2023 as a Health Policy Analyst, where she developed communication about legislation and other health topics and educated the community, health leaders and policymakers about public health.

SGCHD says Kremer brought nine years of experience to the department, and in her first year helped the new maternal-child health program (Family Connects) get $1 million in funding from the state of Missouri.

“In my time at the Health Department, I have enjoyed building relationship with our stakeholders and members of the community,” Kremer said. “I am grateful to Health Department leadership for this opportunity, and I am excited to continue working alongside the public and our partners to promote and protect community health.”
