FORSYTH, Mo. — The city of Forsyth has issued a temporary boil advisory for the main part of the city on Tuesday, September 3 until further notice.

The city says a utility contractor broke an eight-inch water main that runs along Coy Avenue at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The boil advisory will affect everything north and west of Swan Creek, including downtown, areas near Highway 160 and the school. Citizens should expect low water pressure or no water at all while the boil advisory is in effect.

The city says crews will be working as hard as they can until repairs are complete.
