    Missing Kansas woman found safe

    UPDATE 5:00 PM – AMPD says Minnie Stewart was found safe by Arkansas State Police in Harrison, Arkansas.

    LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. — The Aurora-Marionville Police Department (AMPD) has issued an endangered SILVER advisory for a missing woman from southeast Kansas.

    AMPD says 83-year-old Minnie Stewart went missing from her residence in Neosho County, Kansas at 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 14. She has a silver 2012 Ford Escape bearing KS, 8433ACW with an AirTag giving information on her location. She was last located on MO-39 near Aurora, Missouri at 12:35 p.m. Sunday.

    AMPD also says Stewart has been diagnosed with dementia.

    Stewart is 5’2″, 145 lbs with gray hair. She is possibly wearing an unknown color t-shirt, blue elastic pants and Sketchers tennis shoes. AMPD also says Stewart has been diagnosed with dementia.

    Anyone with info on Stewart or her whereabouts is urged to call 911 or the AMPD at 417-316-6006.
