Man charged in fatal Taney County shooting

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. — A man has been charged after being accused in a fatal shooting in Rockaway Beach, Missouri on September 12, 2024.

Bryce Fausett is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter. He is currently being held in Taney County Jail with no bond.

Taney County Sheriff’s Office says there was an altercation at Fausett’s residence on Molly Lane in Rockaway Beach between Fausett and the victim which led to the alleged shooting.

According to the probable cause statement, the victim was called over to Fausett’s residence. When the victim entered, he went to Faucett and started punching him. Fausett then took out a handgun and fired multiple rounds at the victim.

The victim left the residence and drove off on Molly Lane until he crashed into a fence and a tree at another residence. The victim was found dead in his vehicle from injuries he sustained from gunshot wounds.

Fausett is currently being held in Taney County with no bond.
