MILLER COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Phoenix, Arizona is accused of driving while under the influence after being involved in a fatal motorcycle crash overnight Sunday in Miller County.

Khalil Manygoats, 26, is charged with DWI – death of another and possession of a controlled substance. He is currently in the Miller County Detention Center on a $200,000 bond.

According to online court records, Miller County dispatch received a report of a motorcycle crash on MO-242 east of Route MM in Lake Ozark around 12:22 a.m.

After a Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) trooper arrived at the scene, a witness told them that Manygoats was recklessly driving a 2009 Harley Davidson Super Glide motorcycle and crashed.

The passenger — 35-year-old Larose Spencer of Phoenix, Arizona — was ejected from the vehicle and was “run over” by another vehicle that fled the scene. MSHP is still looking for the other vehicle involved.

Manygoats told law the trooper that he crashed due to being cut off by another driver but admitted to drinking alcohol earlier that evening. He was later arrested by MSHP and taken to Lake Regional Hospital for moderate injuries.

At the crash site, law enforcement found alcoholic beverages, marijuana products and a baggie with a white, powdery substance inside believed to be cocaine. Law enforcement also found that Manygoats’ driving privileges were canceled in Arizona and suspended in New Mexico.
