WEST PLAINS, Mo. — One of four people accused in a drug trafficking operation in March 2024 has been sentenced.

Online court records show that a judge suspended a three-year sentence for Heather Patrice Stouffer, who will spend three years on supervised probation for four counts of delivering a controlled substance.

A probable cause statement from the West Plains Police Department says Stouffer was in the room, along with three other people, when officers served a search warrant at a hotel on March 26, 2024.

Police found 70 capsules during their search, all suspected to contain fentanyl, and several used syringes, spoons, straws, a bag of suspected methamphetamine, and pill bottles containing more of the fentanyl capsules.
