Ozarks’ lake tops list for best fall fishing destination for 2024

The word is getting out: Missouri lakes are where it’s at. With the dog days of summer well in the rear-view mirror, fall is a perfect time to be on the water fishing and Table Rock Lake has been named as one of the “ 9 Best Fall Fishing Destinations for 2024. “

Spreading across two states, Table Rock Lake is approximately 43,000 acres. The man-made lake was completed in 1958. Since then, the lake has become a premier angling destination for bass, crappie, and catfish.

Table Rock Lake has three main tributaries feeding into it, the James River, Long Creek, and Kings River. This makes for an ideal habitat for a whole host of freshwater fish.
