REPUBLIC, Mo. — A Republic man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for trafficking fentanyl and illegally owning guns.

According to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Missouri, 35-year-old Tonikko Fewell will not be eligible for parole.

Fewell pleaded guilty in April 2024 to two counts of possessing fentanyl with the intent to distribute, one count of possessing a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime and one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
