SPRINGFIELD, Mo–The scolding hot Missouri State Bears will return to Plaster Stadium Saturday for Homecoming.

They’re bringing with them a four game winning streak and the number 20 ranking in the FCS Coaches poll.

Indiana State is coming off a win against Murray State.

In our Bear Nation report, Saturday, the Bears pummeled 16th-ranked Illinois State 41-7.

The victory moved Mo State up five spots in the polls.

The Bears had a winning mix of efficient offense and opportune defense.

Missouri State recovered two fumbles, and had two interceptions.

They were picked by Tavier Williams who also had eight tackles.

“We have this mantra where it’s just us. It’s all about us. Whatever we do. We control the setting. We control the tempo. If we go out there and play Bears ball we can pretty much beat anybody. A week ago we went to the mall. Me, JJ and Dylan Simmons. We went to the mall. I had Bears gear on. Everybody was you guys great win, great win. You guys are playing great football. It’s been such a loving atmosphere out here in Springfield. It feels great to be 4-2 right now,” said Tavier Williams.
