Taney County man wins $100K from Scratchers ticket

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. — A Missouri Lottery player in Taney County won $100,000 after purchasing a winning Scratchers ticket in Branson.

The player won the $100,000 prize after purchasing a “Big Money” Scratchers ticket from 76 Express on 3305 W. Highway 76 in Branson.

“I was so surprised I won!” the winner said.

The player said he plans to use the winning money to help buy his first-ever home.

According to Missouri Lottery, “Big Money” Scratchers players won over $11.9 million in prizes after they released the $5 ticket in June. Three additional $100,000 prizes remain.

Missouri Lottery also says Taney County players won more than $11.9 in prizes and Taney County education programs received more than $3.8 million in proceeds in the 2024 fiscal year.
