Barry County mobile home fire results in pet death

SELIGMAN, Mo. — A mobile home fire destroyed a homeowner’s house and killed a pet.

According to the Seligman Fire Department’s Facebook page, on Oct. 14, at 10:55 p.m., SFPD was dispatched to a mobile home on fire.

“Crews battled hard to get the blaze out but there was multiple explosions from propane tanks, fireworks and ammunition, and unfortunately the home was a total loss,” said the Facebook post.

No one was hurt, but the owners did lose one pet.
