TRAFFIC ALERT: Portion of Kansas Expy. to close overnight

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Starting Monday, Kansas Expressway will close during overnight hours between James River Freeway and Republic Road.

According to a press release from the City of Springfield, the closures will start at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 and end at 6 a.m. on Oct. 22 for road resurfacing.

Access to James River Freeway ramps will be maintained, and all traffic exiting eastbound James River Freeway will be directed north.

Kansas Expressway will not be accessible from Kingsley Street and traffic to the Fieldhouse or other properties on Kingsley west of Kansas are asked to use Cox Road. Properties on the east side of Kingsley should use Lexington Avenue.
