UPDATE 12:00 PM – The Branson Police Department says all traffic signals and back up and operational. However, they still say some signals are still flashing red, and advise drivers to treat them as four-way stops.

    Original Story:

BRANSON, Mo. — The Branson Police Department (BPD) is notifying drivers of an issue that is affecting some traffic signals in the city.

BPD says in a Facebook post that the City of Branson is dealing with an issue with the power grid, causing some traffic lights to go down.

BPD officers are directing traffic at major affected intersections and Liberty Utilities has been notified of the power grid issue.

BPD is advising drivers to be cautious and to follow the guidance of officers at these intersections. BPD will provide an update if the situation changes.
