    Camden County man dies in crash after truck overturns

    CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. — A man from Macks Creek, Missouri, was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Camden County Saturday night.

    Martin B. Perez, 61, was traveling north on State Highway 7 at Tranquil Woods Road in a 1994 Chevrolet 1500 truck when the crash occurred.

    According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), just before 7:30 p.m., the Chevrolet ran off the right side of MO-7 and the truck overcorrected twice, ejecting Perez as it overturned.

    Perez was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Camden County Medical Examiner. MSHP was assisted by the Camden County Sheriff’s Office.

    This is the 39th fatality crash for MSHP Troop F in 2024.
