Bazar’s Bakery & Restaurant in Hernando is about to get lost in the Fifties tonight. The popular breakfast spot and bakery is expanding and rebranding as Bazar’s Diner with a new menu and 1950s theme along with burgers and milkshakes, a jukebox, weekend sock hops, and even poodle skirts and vintage waitress uniforms.

Columbia wraps up $1 million water, sewer rehabilitation project
COLUMBIA, Miss. (WDAM) - The City of Columbia just wrapped up a $1 million project to upgrade water and sewer services in some northern sections of the city. Columbia used a $600,000 federal Community Development Block Grant to help replace or repair water and sewer lines and add storm water inlets to several city streets.
