Four-Year-Old in Louisiana Dies From Gunshot Wound
Some unfortunate news to report out of Lafayette, Louisiana, a child is dead as a result of a gunshot wound. "On July 18, 2024, at 10:34 AM, the Lafayette Police Department responded to the 100 block of Bryan St about an injured four-year-old child. The child was transported to a local hospital by ambulance where the child was pronounced deceased. LPD investigators were called to the scene and are actively investigating this incident. An update will be disseminated once additional information is obtained."

An absolutely horrific incident happened in Hammond, Louisiana on Wednesday afternoon in which a 3-year-old died following a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the face.
