This is highly disturbing on so many levels. I'd say it's about time to do some serious house cleaning at the Spokane County Sheriff's Office. Being dismissive to this man and ignoring completely his very truthful account of the horrors he faced at the hands of his assailant... the Sheriff's deputy... made the whole damn department guilty of violating his Constitutional rights. Disgusting. The deputy needs to spend years in prison and the Sheriff's office needs a complete overhaul. All new staff. Fire every one of them and if one believes he or she (deputy) doesn't deserve to be fired, let the individual deputy plead his case. If he indeed deserves to remain employed, keep him on.This Gestapo crap needs to stop. Community policing needs to return and this paramilitary nightmare has to end.
