I really feel for this family. There are not enough organs donated to go around so they have to be extremely picky on who they give them to. And when a person has cancer, there is a high risk of it coming back. So I can see why they don’t want to give lungs to somebody who will die of cancer later anyway. It’s a hard decision. I hope they’re able to have a successful surgery done.
