GJPD seeking info on downtown robbery

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. ( KREX ) – The Grand Junction Police Department is asking the community to help identify a reported thief.

The GJPD said in a press release a robbery was reported around 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, at The Bee Dynasty, 524 Colorado Ave. An employee told police a masked male allegedly entered the store – a CBD and smoke shop – demanding items from the business. The man reportedly did not take out a weapon or threaten the employee at any time, according to police.

The man fled the store on foot with stolen merchandise. He has not been found since.

The theft remains under investigation.

The Bee Dynasty owner told WesternSlopeNow the business opened Wednesday following the robbery.
