CORVALLIS, Ore. — Benton County voters may experience possible traffic and delays when utilizing the ballot dropoff box located at 4500 SW Research Way on Saturday, May 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The City of Corvallis and Benton County Emergency Management programs will be conducting a Wildfire Evacuation Drill for the County on May 18, utilizing the Kalapuya Building as a Temporary Evacuation Point (TEP). Despite this drill, the ballot box at the Kalapuya Building will remain accessible to the public, though delays may occur.

According to a news release from Benton County Government, the purpose of this advisory is to ensure voters are fully aware of logistical considerations regarding ballot drop-off locations.

For further information and to locate additional ballot drop sites, voters are encouraged to visit the Elections-Ballot Drop Sites page on the Benton County Records and Elections website.

The upcoming May primary election holds significant importance in shaping the community's future, and voters are reminded that every vote counts.

Additional information about the May primary can be found on the Benton County Government website.
