New York - Sean Combs, also known as “Puff Daddy,” “P. Diddy,” and “Love,” has been arrested and charged in Manhattan federal court with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and other federal offenses, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York.

The indictment alleges that Combs, 54, of Miami, Florida, engaged in a decade-long scheme that involved the abuse, coercion, and exploitation of women, along with other violent crimes such as forced labor, kidnapping, arson, and bribery.

Combs allegedly orchestrated elaborate sex trafficking events referred to as “Freak Offs,” in which victims were forced to engage in days-long sexual activities. The indictment accuses Combs of using violence, threats, and manipulation to control his victims, including leveraging his financial support and distributing narcotics.

The indictment further claims Combs’ business empire was used to facilitate and conceal his crimes, with employees and associates assisting in arranging logistics and covering up the abuse. Combs is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for purposes of prostitution. He faces a potential life sentence if convicted.

The investigation remains ongoing. Victims or witnesses with information are encouraged to contact Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) at Sextrafficking_outreach@hsi.dhs.gov or through their mobile tip-line at 1-877-4-HSITIP.
