Linn County, Ore. – A Linn County Taskforce of 13 firefighters was deployed today for a brief mutual aid response to assist with structural protection efforts at the Bingham Fire in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness. The deployment lasted just one operational period.

The crew, consisting of firefighters from Sweet Home, Lebanon Fire District, Harrisburg, Halsey, and Scio, worked together to assess and prepare structures in the area. They developed a protection plan that will be utilized by replacement crews in the coming days.
