Cushing, ME – The Maine Marine Patrol and the Knox County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of Donald McBeth, 83, a seasonal resident of Cushing and a permanent resident of Vero Beach, Florida. McBeth's body was discovered yesterday evening on the shore near Gaunt Neck Road in Cushing.

Authorities were alerted at around 7:00 p.m. when McBeth failed to attend a family gathering.
