Fort Worth, TX – A Fort Worth couple tied to two fatal fentanyl overdoses has been sentenced to a combined 51 years in federal prison, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Texas.

Edward Taylor, 42, and Tierrah “TT” Andrews, 29, pleaded guilty in May to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl and were sentenced on Friday. Mr. Taylor received 27 years, while Ms. Andrews was sentenced to 24 years in prison.

“These drug traffickers callously disregarded the risks of the drugs they were selling, and as a result, two people died,” said U.S. Attorney Leigha Simonton. “Fentanyl is fueling a crisis that is tearing families apart across America, and we will continue to hold every trafficker accountable.”

The couple operated out of a Fort Worth motel room and apartment in the Las Vegas Trail neighborhood, selling fentanyl pills and cocaine. Two men, a 45-year-old and a 21-year-old, died after purchasing fentanyl pills from the couple in November 2023 and January 2024.

Investigators later executed a search warrant at Andrews’ apartment in January 2024, seizing 270 fentanyl pills, cocaine, methamphetamine, a drug ledger, ammunition, and a ghost gun carried by Andrews for protection. The couple was arrested in February following an undercover operation.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives (ATF) led the investigation with assistance from the Fort Worth Police Department and the Parker County Sheriff’s Office as part of the Fort Worth Violent Crime Initiative.
