Lebanon, OR – On the afternoon of October 20, 2024, the Lebanon Fire District responded to a 2-acre natural cover fire in the 31000 block of McCravens Lane. The fire, which spread from a previous burn that the property owner thought had been extinguished, was discovered when the owner returned home after running errands and immediately called 911.

Thirteen firefighters, four engines, and a water tender were dispatched to the scene, and crews had the fire under control within 90 minutes. Thankfully, no injuries were reported.
