Ask the Expert: When is AFIB Awareness Month

September is Nation Atrial Fibrillation, also known as AFib, Awareness Month. It's a condition that can happen to anyone. Over 12 million people are projected to have AFib by 2030.

On Ask the Expert, Dr. Tamirisa joined the KRLD Zoom room. She is an American Heart Association Volunteer and also a Cardiologist at Medical City Heart Hospital. She breaks down the meaning of AFIB as well as the signs and symptoms and even treatment for the condition.
