Most of North Texas saw rain on Tuesday and more scattered showers are in the forecast Wednesday before things slowly dry out into the weekend.

Wednesday began with more showers on the radar, with the bulk of the rain in Wise County. More scattered showers are in the forecast, but not as numerous as Tuesday. Afternoon temperatures will be in the 70s in the rain, and 80s if there are any peeks of sunshine.

Very few will see showers Thursday, in fact, the sun will most likely come out warming temperatures into the mid to upper 80s.

Friday is mainly dry until late evening as a cold front presses into the area. Any showers or storms that form along the front will be few and far between. Some areas might kiss the 90-degree mark on Friday.

The weather dries out as far as the humidity goes this weekend and at least through the middle of next week. Temperatures will still be warm with afternoon highs in the upper 80s this weekend, but morning lows, especially on Sunday and Monday morning will dip into the 60s area-wide. The evenings will be comfortable, and the mornings will be even more comfortable.

The very dry air mass will continue through all of next week as afternoon highs creep back into the low 90s, morning lows will range from 65-70 degrees.
