The mother of Georgia school shooting suspect Colt Gray called the school that morning to warn them, according to family members.

The sister of Marcee Gray says she called Apalachee High School at 9:50 AM, warning of an "extreme emergency".  Her father says she called after receiving a text from Colt reading "I'm sorry, mom."

The call would have been placed just 30 minutes before police were notified of the shooting.

Four people were killed and nine more wounded during the shooting.  14-year-old Colt will be tried as an adult on felony murder charges.

His father, 54-year-old Colin Gray, is charged with second-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter for giving Colt the AR-style rifle used in the shooting.

If she did call, then in my opinion...the school officials should be responsible to some extent.
