An Arlington school employee has been put on administrative leave, after being accused of tying up some students, however, police determined the allegations to be false.

It is not clear whether it was a teacher or staff member, but they have allegations of them tying students up with strings and putting tape over their mouths.

An employee at Goodman Elementary School has been placed on administrative leave after the district learned of the allegations and, "immediately began an investigation and placed the employee on leave", the Arlington ISD said in a statement.

Adding, "[we] encourage any students or parents with concerns to contact the administration." So far there is no police report of the incident, nor has a criminal investigation begun.

The district contacted police and after reviewing the information and evidence, the police determined that no children were injured, no child’s movements were ever restricted, no child’s breathing was restricted, and no criminal offense occurred.

Therefore, we will not be filing any criminal charges in connection to this incident. The district says they will handle the matter internally with their policies and procedures.
