Frisco pastor to retire after more than 25 years leading Stonebriar Community Church

The longtime pastor of Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco is stepping down after more than 25 years at the helm.

Chuck Swindoll, who turns 90 next month, will deliver his final sermon in October. Despite his retirement from pastoral duties, he said he and his wife plan to remain active members of the congregation and continue worshiping at the church.

Swindoll’s leadership at Stonebriar has been a cornerstone of the megachurch’s growth and influence over the past quarter-century.
