    North Texas will be warm and dry for the next 7 days

    Hurricane Helene made landfall Thursday evening in Florida. Its forward speed increased to 30 mph overnight and it's been downgraded to a tropical storm with wind at 70 mph as of 4 a.m. Its track will take it north towards Chattanooga Friday afternoon and then it will sharply bend to the west, just north of Nashville.

    Helene will keep North Texas warm and dry for the next seven days. Afternoon highs will be in the mid-80s Friday, mid to upper 80s this weekend, and low 90s next Monday through Thursday. Morning lows will mainly be in the 60s. No rain in the forecast at least through midweek next week.
