Above-average temperatures and no rainfall will greet North Texas through the weekend. Morning temperatures on Monday ranged from 65-70 degrees with clear skies and a weak cold front moving through the area.

There's no cold air behind the front and no precipitation is expected. Afternoon highs will still reach the upper 80s with low humidity.

Skies will clear and it will be a bit cooler Monday night with morning lows from 60-66 degrees. There will be a smattering of some upper 50s and some of the rural areas.

Plenty of sunshine will dominate the weather on Tuesday. Afternoon highs will top out in the middle 80s. Eighty-two degrees is the average high this time of year.

Sunshine will continue on Wednesday through the weekend. Upper 80s on Wednesday, near 90 on Thursday through Sunday. A pretty simple forecast, but unfortunately the drought situation continues to worsen across the area.
