Texas man dies a month after being stung by hundreds of bees

Lonnie Dorsey, 72, tragically passed away on Sunday after being hospitalized last month due to a bee attack in North Richland Hills.

On September 24, he was mowing his lawn when bees from a tree swarmed and stung him repeatedly.

His partner, Patricia Byrns, tried to help but was also stung before a neighbor called 911.

Both were taken to the hospital, but despite initial signs of recovery, Dorsey succumbed to his injuries.

Byrns described him as a kind and gentle man, and the incident has deeply shocked their family.
