Denton residents can get back to watering their lawns twice a week

DENTON (1080 KRLD)- People in Denton can get back to watering their lawns twice a week.

The City of Denton this week says it took nearly eight weeks to fix two damaged intake filters at the Lake Lewisville water treatment plant. With that repair complete, residents can now resume to watering twice a week schedule.

Homes with addresses ending in even numbers can water Tuesday and Saturday while odd-numbered addresses can water Wednesday and Sunday. Commercial properties may water on Monday and Thursday.
