New passport facility to open in McKinney

The Collin County District Clerk’s office this week announced the opening of a passport acceptance facility within its office located at the Collin County Courthouse in McKinney.

The new office is set to begin operations on Nov. 4 and will initially operate by appointment only. Appointments can be made online at the District Clerk’s website within the Collin County webpage .

Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould said the new facility was a joint effort by the Collin County Congressional delegation led by Congressman Keith Self, working closely with the Dallas Passport Agency.

The passport acceptance facility will operate from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
