1 injured in Oakland shooting, OPD investigates

( KRON ) – The Oakland Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred on Thursday.

Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, the OPD communications division was notified of a gunshot wound victim who arrived at a local hospital.

Oakland police officers responded to the hospital, where the victim was in stable condition.

According to the preliminary investigation, the shooting occurred in the 1300 block of 104th Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Oakland Police Department Felony Assault Unit at (510) 238-3426. OPD asks anyone with videos or photos that could assist with the investigation to send them to cidvideos@oaklandca.gov.
