Fatal shooting at Oakland Dollar Tree on Tuesday

( KRON ) — A fatal shooting was reported at an Oakland Dollar Tree on Tuesday, the Oakland Police Department said.

The shooting happened just before 4 p.m. on the 2400 block of International Boulevard. A photo from the scene shows yellow crime scene tape at the entrance of the Dollar Tree at 2445 International Blvd.

The victim died at the scene. OPD is conducting a follow-up investigation to gather more information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

OPD did not announce an arrest. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call OPD at (510) 238-3821.
