One of the vehicles involved in the crash, which occurred near Bailey Road, is a Honda Civic that suffered major frontend damage. The Contra Costa County Fire Department is responding to the scene.

Drivers were advised to expect delays, find alternate routes, and avoid the area if possible. As of shortly before 4:30 p.m., all lanes had reopened, the CHP said.
