    Car crashes into Alameda boba shop, two pedestrians

    ( KRON ) — Two people have non-life-threatening injuries after a car crashed into two pedestrians and a business in Alameda on Thursday morning, the Alameda Police Department said.

    APD said that just before 9:56 a.m., a car turned northbound onto Park Street from Santa Clara Avenue, striking the pedestrians in the process. It then turned left, into the front window of Gong Cha bubble tea at 1501 Park St.

    The pedestrians who were struck were taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The cafe is now boarded up.

    The driver was not injured. Authorities did not release a cause for the crash.
