Over $26K of eyewear stolen in Daly City LensCrafters robberies

(KRON) – The Daly City Police Department is searching for three suspects who reportedly stole $15,000 worth of merchandise from LensCrafters in the Serramonte Center’s Macy’s.

The robbery occurred one week after the same establishment suffered a burglary that resulted in a loss of more than $11,000 worth of glasses , according to police.

This robbery occurred at 6:45 p.m. on Aug. 28. A Lenscrafters employee told police that the suspect grabbed a load of glasses and left the store. Police said the suspects came back two minutes later to steal more glasses and pushed an employee in the process.

A description of the suspects was not provided by police.

In both robberies, the suspects fled in a gray Honda CRV. However, it is unclear if the robberies are related.
