Oakland firefighters respond to fire on International Boulevard

( KRON ) — Firefighters in Oakland were responding to a fire in a residential building Friday morning. The fire is burning in a three-story building on the 2700 block of International Boulevard, according to the Oakland Fire Department.

The fire, officials said, appeared to be burning on the top floor. As of 10:25 a.m., fire officials said the blaze was under control. About 35 firefighters responded.

One person was treated at the scene. There were no reports of any other injuries and no immediate word on displacements. The fire did not extend to any nearby properties, officials said.
