STOCKTON, Calif. (KRON) — Two teenagers were arrested Friday in connection to a robbery they committed on a 73-year-old in Stockton last week, according to police.

Death of woman extricated from car in Vallejo investigated as homicide: PD

The Stockton Police Department said an elderly woman, 73, was pulling cash out of an ATM on the 8000 block of West Lane when two teenagers, aged 14 and 15, confronted her.

Police said during the confrontation, the two teens “knocked” the woman down to the ground “while stealing the money from her hand.”

SPD said the two juveniles fled immediately after grabbing the woman’s cash. Officers searched the area but said they could not locate the two.

Stockton police said detectives “immediately ” began working on the case, and with the help of “multiple Crime Stopper Tips,” they were able to confirm the teens’ identities.

On Friday, detectives arrested both the 14-year-old. The 15-year-old suspect “remains outstanding,” PD said.
