2 dead, 1 hospitalized after Oakland shooting Saturday

(KRON) – Two individuals were killed and one is in stable condition after an Oakland shooting, according to the Oakland Police Department.

Oakland police officers and paramedics responded to the 600 block of 23rd Street for a suspected shooting around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Police said they found two victims with gunshot wounds. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

OPD was later notified that a victim arrived at a local hospital, who was listed in stable condition.

According to the preliminary investigation, the third victim sustained their injuries at the shooting in the 600 block of 23rd Street.

The identities of the victims are being withheld until the next of kin is notified.
