Evacuation order in Clearlake zones for Boyles Fire

( KRON ) — An evacuation order has been issued for Zone CLE-E157 and CLE-E148-A in Lake County, according to officials.

This brush fire has been dubbed the Boyles Fire.

According to Cal Fire, residents in the affected evacuation order zones should leave immediately. “This is an order by law enforcement to leave immediately. The area is lawfully closed to public access,” Cal Fire said.

The fire began near Cache Creek Apartments near Dam Road in Clearlake.

As of 6:53 a.m. on Monday, the fire has spread to 76 acres and at 30% containment, according to Cal Fire.
