( KRON ) — A husband and wife duo were arrested for selling crack cocaine and possessing illegal firearms, the San Jose Police Department announced on Tuesday. The SJPD Metro Unit conducted a months-long investigation into the alleged narcotics sales, which resulted in millions of dollars’ worth of narcotics being seized, police said.

The investigation led to the identification of Tri Pham, 51, and his wife, Jenny Pham, 46, as suspects. Police allege the Phams, who are San Jose residents, operated a drug house for manufacturing, transporting and selling cocaine base — commonly referred to as crack cocaine.

SJPD Metro Unit officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspects and multiple search warrants for residences associated with them.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4, SJPD Metro Unit officers along with members of the SJPD Merge Unit, Covert Response Unit, Violent Crimes Enforcement Team and Downtown Services Unit, executed search warrants at three residences associated with the Phams. The residences, police said, were in the 1100 block of Bendmill Way and the 100 block of Maro Drive.

The execution of the search warrants resulted in officers seizing:

    • Over 37 pounds of cocaine
    • 17 pounds of cocaine base “crack”
    • 50 Xanax bars
    • 6 firearms
    • 1 rifle
    • 2 vehicles with hidden compartments
    • Approximately $120,000 in cash

According to police, the street value of the cocaine seized was roughly $2 million. The suspects were arrested in the City of San Jose and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail for weapons possession, and narcotics transportation and sales.

I learned one thing in San jose, if the dealers are minorities they get arrested, and if they are white, the upper middle class with connections with the police department you are not arrested and allowed to do your proses from home
