Over $20K of stolen perfume recovered after Napa Ulta theft

( KRON ) — Over $20,000 worth of stolen perfume was recovered in Napa after a suspect vehicle was stopped Wednesday, according to the Napa Police Department.

Napa officers responding to a reported theft at Ulta Beauty were given the license plate number of a suspect vehicle, police said. Shortly after, the vehicle was located on Highway 29.

Following a traffic stop, three occupants of the vehicle were detained and $20,000 worth of perfume was seized, along with burglary tools, Napa PD said. The three suspects were arrested for theft, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.

Police said $10,000 worth of the stolen fragrances came from the Napa Ulta store. Detectives are attempting to identify the other victims in the suspected thefts.
