San Francisco backyard fire leaves 1 in critical condition: SFFD

SAN FRANCISCO ( KRON ) — Firefighters are currently at the scene of a backyard fire that sparked out of a San Francisco home. The blaze has left one in critical condition, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed with KRON4.

Firefighters responded to the one-alarm fire on the 300 block of Hanover Street at about 8:30 p.m. SFFD posted a video showing several fire trucks at the scene.

SFFD rescued one victim, who they say is currently in critical condition. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, fire crews said. No other injuries were reported.

As of 9:30 p.m., SFFD said crews are still battling the fire.
