( KRON ) – Stolen property, a firearm and more than 30 grams of cocaine were found in a stolen car, according to the Fremont Police Department.

At 5 a.m. on Aug. 31, an automatic license plate reader alerted police of a stolen vehicle near Fremont and Washington boulevards.

The driver accelerated speed after police attempted to make a traffic stop. Police said they used an intervention technique that halted the car near Thornton Avenue and Blacow Road. All of the three occupants surrendered, according to police.
