Woman killed in Vallejo, man arrested

( KRON ) — A woman was shot and killed in Vallejo on Monday night, the city’s police department said. The suspect turned himself in after police obtained a warrant for his arrest.

The shooting happened at about 10:50 p.m. on the 300 block of Avian Drive. The victim died at the scene.

A VPD investigation identified Anthony Quinn Huff Jr., 28, of Vallejo as the suspect. He turned himself in to police and was booked into jail for murder.

The killing was Vallejo’s 18th of 2024.
